WorkStadt follows a vision: International professionals from all over the world like to come to the Wuppertal region because they find a hospitable, accessible and bilingual living environment. We give all our energies so that we, as a Bergische Region, can make such a noticeable difference together that makes it easy for international professionals to choose their new place of work and life and lets them stay connected here in the long term.

WorkStadt folgt einer Vision: Internationale Fachkräfte aus der ganzen Welt kommen gern nach Wuppertal weil sie auf einen gastfreundlichen, zugänglichen und bilingualen Lebensraum treffen. Wir geben alle Energien, damit wir als bergische Region gemeinsam einen solch spürbaren Unterschied machen, der den internationalen Fachkräften die Wahl ihres neuen Arbeits- und Lebensortes leicht macht und sie hier auf Dauer verbunden sein lässt.

Industry, ecology, and demographics: the Bergisch region is in the midst of transformation – once again. We will rise to this challenge – thanks to our spirit of innovation, our cultural diversity, and the positive pragmatism reflected in initiatives like WorkStadt. For us, multicultural perspectives are a true asset – for both our economy and our society. I am pleased that WorkStadt promotes these values, provides hands-on support to new residents and sharing my goal to inspire enthusiasm for Wuppertal.
